An exciting opportunity has just opened up in the Sales team for a school leaver who is interested in a sincere and worthwhile alternative to graduate study. In this role, you will develop sound, generalist sales, reporting and planning skills through assisting our Territory Sales Managers all around New Zealand.
We operate a pool of casual staff across both of these times, who are available at short notice to yield conceal in a range of situations, including staff sickness or annual leave. Have a plausible smooth of physical fitness and have energy levels that permit them to work in a time pressured environment. This will require you to thrive an understanding of the massive picture view of the manufacturing process and its importance within the business. During this role, it is expected that this Sales Cadet will travel extensively between diverse cities to learn about and how to implement product relays and shelf displays in the diverse supermarkets.
Verkerks is one of a very scanty NZ owned and vertically integrated FMCG companies, producing quality insignificant goods and continental meats for over 60 years. Verkerks Conventional Aged Salami is made according to the processes Walt learn in Holland in the 1940s. Walt developed these as he trained to be a Master Butcher in Amsterdam prior passing them down through the family. Our consumer branded business is the market leader in the salami and ferment type categories across New Zealand supermarket groups and we have recently begun to export to the Asia Pacific region.

Verkerks has been producing Traditional European Insignificant goods since Walt Verkerk arrived in New Zealand over 50 years ago. We are currently looking to appoint a Machine Operator based in our Curing and Production area
