Our exciting art space has its origins in the series of major earthquakes that devastated central and eastern areas of Christchurch. Various artists began to talk about the need for a place where a creative renaissance could flourish following the loss of so many of the city's artistic outlets. The result was Art Box, a Christchurch Gallery where modern works can be viewed in a relaxed and friendly environment. Since then Beverley has been delighted to share her space with a growing body of talented New Zealand artists.
Visitors to the gallery will be assured of a warm welcome and the opportunity to see some great paintings
Art Box Gallery is delighted to represent a diversity of talent that has come together in the aftermath of the Christchurch Earthquakes. Until the final of October, Art Box Gallery is offering all visitors to the gallery a chance to go in to the draw to succeed a 500 voucher for a painting of your finest by Beverley Frost. We regularly visit clients, a service we donate free for those in the local Christchurch area with a variety of works. With our sensible orange stand we met many new art lovers as well as some of our routine clients.
All of our artists are passionate about their labor and the building certainly gives us a immense venue for showing and discussing art.
