What you should know about CHCH Olympic Tae Kwon Do
He is a past athlete competing at international events including World Championships and winning gold medals at Oceania Championships and in Korea. Bic started training in Auckland below Matt Ransom who is a 6th Dan Dark Belt Master Instructor and has over 30 years energetic involvement in Taekwondo at all levels. The Christchurch Olympic team sent up 16 competitors, we came back with 11 gold, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes. At the recent tun National Taekwondo Championships, three Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo Fighters were presented with Competitor of the year awards. Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo results for the tun South Island Championships. My second fight felt a lot better but my rival kept doing back kicks and scoring two points per kick, so at the final of the first round it was 7 3 to him. Over the years our club members have successfully represented both our club nationally and internationally. This was a large tournament with over 300 sparrings and 100 poomsae competitors.
I have been competing in tournaments for around four years, and this would have to be one of the best. A team of 19 competitors represented Christchurch Olympic at the recent tun National tournament, held at Rolleston. The Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo Club Tournament Team Heads Up to The Top.
