What you should know about Designworks Architecture
The energy from sun is free and the health benefits from living in the sun are healthy documented. We have spent only the money we received and have constructed a very efficient, beautiful, laughter family home. There is an alarming amount of chemicals in our customary building materials. Having built myself I have a fresh respect and understanding that all the decisions we make through the process have price implications and this requires mindfulness along the way. I wanted to demonstrate a more energy efficient solution could be built with an insurance settlement.
Drawing accurate site plan, floor plans, elevations and basic cranky sections for PIN and resource consent applications. We trust the superior outcomes come from people working together for a normal goal. 3D views are produced to ensure client understanding and to allow client comments. We enjoy altering houses, providing solutions to improve energy efficiency, allow people live and labor in the sun and produce cunning space planning for all lifestyles.
It’s much better for our planet, your health and supports our local economy. We support people building smaller, energy efficient quality house rather than large minimum quality building code houses. We are fortunate now to be capable to make very energy efficient choices with our building envelopes and choices around solar systems, appliances and heating. Whilst we endeavor to design within our clients budgets increasingly we are finding our clients discard more than they wanted to. This is delivered by our client to us at the start of the project to define the scope of the project.
We encourage you to source materials locally, consider what is in them as healthy as what they look like. We have a diverse range of clients but our passion is designing compact energy efficient houses meeting needs with wise design to lessen our footprint on this earth. Given what we put in our buildings it’s hardly surprising! We have some amazing materials available in New Zealand, sold by very passionate people who know their stuff
