Dorothy’s is a mobile British tearooms based in beautiful Christchurch, New Zealand. Our lovely caravan Dorothy can pop up wherever a good cup of tea and tasty home baking is needed from afternoon tea treats to parties, weddings and fairs. With delicious menus for every season, a stunning collection of vintage china and of course, the perfect cup of tea, Dorothy’s will add a truly special touch of charm to any occasion. Our cakes and scones are homemade and all our produce is sourced locally wherever possible.
Behind the teapot is Jan Saville, dedicated tea drinker, corgi enthusiast, collector of fine china, and the owner and founder of Dorothy’s Pop Up Tearooms. At family get togethers, nothing was shop bought and the tables used to heave with cakes and pastries
