Hamish has built up the Company to a strong Team of personnel and complementing divisions. Hamish has placed strong focus on delivering projects in a timely and effective manner that has seen Frews Contracting establish strong relationships with some of Canterbury’s main players including Ngai Tahu, CIAL, CC, CERA, Civil Defence, CDHB to name a few. Tom has been with Frews for over ten years, specialising in Resource Management. With a background in the mining industry, Tom has seen Frews expand into quarrying operations, and more recently the expansion of their recycling activities. Tom’s experience in this field has provided for ingenious solutions to clients waste management problems, covering aspects from resource consents to operational efficiencies.
His experience in contracting comes from 20 years of managing forestry roading, and three years managing pipelines down south. He is now managing all the forestry and civil work Frews complete while also overlooking the day to day operations at Frews. Barry has a natural ability to coordinate the truck drivers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness he also has a vast knowledge of demolition and site works. Mark has been with Frews for four years now and has been Transport Business Manager for two years.
Ross has been with Frews for nearly 25 years and over the years been involved with demolition, site works, and recycling. Coming from owning and operating a small contracting and cartage business specialising in general earthworks and transport. Hayden helps coordinate all the residential demolitions applying what he has learnt while studying as well as adapting to meet all situations that may arise during a building demolitions. He helps to ensure everything runs smoothly and that rules and regulations are adhered to. Rob has worked for Frews for over 25 years and specialises in maintaining all of our machinery.
He looks after all engineering for our machinery attachments and some building structures. Rochelle has 18 years’ experience in Computer Accounting Systems, Excel, Word, Desk Top Publishing, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Financial and accounting knowledge. Her ability to work through issues, set up systems, and oversee an istration team has added value to the working environment. Having transitioned into the role of an analyst, he studiously works to improve efficiency through constant reporting on both jobs and plant
