Mainland Football Federation is governed by a seven member board of directors, with extra members co opted when specific skill sets are needed. Three members are elected from the game’ nominated and elected by the Federation’s member clubs at the Annual General Meeting. The other four members are selected by an independent three member board appointments panel chaired by the President of Mainland Football, and featuring a representative from Mainland Football along with a third independent member. The Women’s Football Development events reach at an exciting time for the female game in this country with the Football Ferns ranked at 19 Ch in the world, a host of players based at professional clubs overseas and girls and women’s football having grown by 30 per cent at a grassroots slick since the implementation of the Complete of Football Plan in 2011. To assist coaches get the best out of themselves and their players, New Zealand Football’s Coach Education framework offers a range of lofty quality flexible options ranging from junior and youth football right through to courses for coaches occupied in the senior competitive arena. Player centered based on the needs of the players and designed to confront the age related development needs of players throughout the game. The position will report to our Football Development Manager and be responsible for delivering training sessions to youth and junior footballers.
If you make it into this group, you will likely be appointed to the Women’s National League or National Youth League. Children and youth must be aged between 5 and 18 years old at the time of application. The New Zealand Football Coach Education Pathway has courses available at all levels of the game including Junior, Youth and Senior. The maximum able and motivated players can find their way into top class football, and our national teams will have a bigger talent pool to retain them competitive on the world stage
