Chief Judge Isaac is located in Wellington, but continues to hear applications in the Tair whiti District of the M ori Land Court. Before she was appointed, Judge Milroy was a senior lecturer in law at the University of Waikato and was also an associated partner at Harkness Henry and Co, Barristers and Solicitors. Judge Armstrong has extensive experience in the Waitangi Tribunal and the M ori Land Court. We deliver a range of services to you, from our national office, our information office and our network of offices around the country.
We have a dedicated information office in Auckland and have staff located in our National Office and Office of the Chief Registrar in Wellington. the records related to those lands are normally held by the registry office closest to where the lands are located. As a court of record we have been collecting records about M ori land and their owners since 1865. historical court record those records created before the passing of Te Ture Whenua M ori Act 1993.
