What you should know about ourvets
My cats and I have been clients at ourvets St Albans since its inception in 1993. The ailments of my Cats Protection cats, Persian Rescue and my own cats are wide and varied. We have always been impressed by the standard of professionalism and commitment, and, above all, the caring compassion of the staff. Casey McPherson and I are so thankful for the team at ourvets, especially Geoff and Jayne who went and collected our boy from the side of the road.
The kindest care you showed Toby, Joe and I was tremendous, we were so impressed by how well he was cared for and how you accommodated our needs, as owners parents as well from organising the after hour treatment, to the stretchers and crate that we borrowed, to the continuous love you gave and still give to Toby. We are over the moon with his treatment and recovery he may not be as quick as he once was but boy can he move. When not busy at the clinic or renovating his home, John enjoys running, reading and gardening to relax. She is mountain bike obsessed, currently working on ticking off the great New Zealand single tracks one by one with her partner Tom. He has a young German Wire Haired Pointer called Heidi, who keeps him busy!.
Our after hours veterinary protection is provided by The Christchurch Veterinary Behind hours Clinic, at 90 Disraeli Street, in Eddington. We have t he South Islands only veterinary CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasonography, in house diagnostics and a team of dedicated nurses and vets. 30pm 5pm Sun public holidays 3. 30pm 5pm. In his spare time he can often be found mucking around on his lifestyle block, and he enjoys as much time as he can in the vast outdoors and yes, this is a picture of him performing an ultrasound on a Cheetah. Jonathan enjoys being a veterinarian and is studying towards his Masters in Vet Medicine. Previously Richard worked at Massey University, Sydney University and the Royal Veterinary College in London, where he lectured and gained qualifications in Radiography and Veterinary Cardiology. When he isn’t at the clinic or busy farming, he likes to spend time with his three daughters, cycling, jet boating, or taking portion in outdoor sports. We grasp the particular role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to providing excellent care.
He is a great running friend and save dog, and now the top model on the Ourvets books. Christchurch Vet Veterinary Clinic providing a 7 days, behind hours and emergency service at three locations in Christchurch. We have capabilities in medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, oncology and cardiorespiratory medicine including echocardiography. Richard joined the team at Ourvets in 2014 haves just completed a year training program in human ultrasonography echocardiography at Christchurch Public Hospital.
