The Scrap Metal Recycling Association of Fresh Zealand is the national association for metals recycling. It has been established to recognize individuals who may wish to retain links with the scrap metal industry and who encourage the objectives of the Association. SMRANZ is the national professional association of Fresh Zealand's metal recycling industry.
Affiliation with a professional and recognized national association to encourage your business to members and the public and to assist you when problems arise. Future from a trade suited background with more than 20 years of experience in engineering based sales and marketing, along with related board and committee posts, Kelvin aims to assist the other Board members in providing an effective association for all members. The Scrap Metal Recycling Association of New Zealand works actively with the Fresh Zealand Police to fight the problem of metal theft. The Association and its members remain committed to reducing the problem of stolen metals.
The Fresh Zealand Police has worked with members of the Scrap Metal Recycling Association of NZ to address metal thefts and aid prevent victimization. However, other items like batteries for their lead, manhole covers and decorative garden items have also been targeted. All of our members are committed to raising the standards of the scrap metal recycling industry through compliance with all legal requirements in operations and of final products, including fulfilling safety and environmental responsibilities. The Scrap Metal Recycling Association of Fresh Zealand Incorporated SMRANZ is an organization committed to raising the standard of professionalism within the metals recycling industry, both locally and internationally.
The Scrap Metal Recycling Association of New Zealand SMRANZ is the country’s national scrap metal recycling industry association. He has been occupied in the metals recycling industry since 2007 this is his second stint serving as a Board member of the Association. Maximum new steel products use at least 25 recycled steel in their production. Janine has been working in the metal recycling industry since 2010, but her association with the industry spans more than 30 years.
