What you should know about Playcentre Association (Canterbury)
Education is a process education is growth education is not a preparation for life but is life itself! We recognize the abilities, knowledge and experience you bring with you to Playcentre. Playcentre values and celebrates the roles of parents and families in children’s lives.
Here you will find the weekly panui, information about center management and a forum to discuss all things Playcentre. A kid under 2 1 2years must be accompanied by Ch nab parent caregiver at all times while at Playcentre. The Canterbury Playcentre Association currently offers Courses 1 4 of the Playcentre Diploma in Early Childhood and Adult Education. All center members are encouraged to attend the meetings to assist manage the center as a cooperative.
Sessions are run by parents, often with the promote of a coordinator, and children develop strong connections with other children and adults. It is that time of the year again! Are parents directing’? Are children eternal initiating’? Each center is allocated a center support team member to yield advice and promote to the center. Parents learn to promote their own and other children's learning through play through participating in discussions with others and busy alongside more experienced peers.
